Samsung introduced the English version of Bixby Text Call earlier this year in select markets, and now it's available in India as well. This feature converts incoming voice calls into text chats, although it's important to note that it only works for incoming calls.
After activation, the Bixby Text Call button will appear on the incoming call screen alongside the familiar green answer button. You can easily switch between a text call and a traditional voice call as per your preference.
Once you initiate a text call, the caller's words will be displayed in text bubbles, similar to a chat app. You can type your responses or choose from prewritten options, and they will be sent using the text-to-speech system.
A notable benefit of text calls is that the transcription is saved, and you can conveniently access it later from the Recent calls screen. This feature is especially useful for handling calls when speaking out loud is not possible or preferred.
